In Ventura County, the Western Alliance for Nature supported wetland acquisitions and funded a management program coordinated with the Department of Fish & Game, Federal Fish and Wildlife Service and the Sierra Club to protect the breeding areas of Western Snowy Plovers and California Least Terns.
